The Greatest Spectacle
The Greatest Spectacle
After Easter, this series reflects on the joy, hope, and life that comes from the resurrection. Using humor, storytelling, and Scripture, we’ll explore how the empty tomb transforms our perspective, giving new life, renewed hope, and a reason to celebrate God’s victory over death.

Today, in the middle of a busy holiday weekend, hear the good news again: God is good. God wants the best for you. God’s promises are true. And when we finally slow down long enough to delight in the Lord, we begin to discover that Sabbath was never about losing time at all. It was always about discovering the life we were created to live.

Romans 14:5-6
Today, I am not asking you to become Sabbath experts overnight. I am simply asking you to begin. Maybe your next step is one intentional hour this week. Maybe it is putting your phone away during dinner. Maybe it is saying no to something unnecessary. Maybe it is rediscovering joy. Maybe it is simply admitting that you are tired.
Because Sabbath is not about earning God’s love. Sabbath is about learning how to live inside the love God has already given you.
The race is exciting. There are seasons of celebration, excitement, and momentum in life. But eventually we must learn how to go beyond the oval. We must learn how to slow down, breathe deeply, trust God, and live differently.
