ADVICE TO THE GARDENER

Grow PEAS of mind
LETTUCE be thankful
SQUASH selfishness
TURNIP to help thy neighbor
AND ALWAYS
Make THYME for loved ones

Not too long ago a friend of mine gave me a sign that had the above words on it. I had planned on hanging it above the Harvest Table this year, but plans change. Due to health concerns regarding the corona virus we are not currently having things like the Harvest Table in the building. Unfortunately (or fortunately), no one told our gardens to stop growing.

So, we have decided to have the Harvest Table outside this year. It will be the same exact concept as before. If you have excess produce from your garden you can bring it and share with your church family and the community. All produce will be available for free to anyone who would like it or you can give a freewill offering to the Faith Promise fund. Anything left over will then be donated to Hunger, Inc.

The Harvest Table will be located on the picnic tables east of the church building on the lot the playground is on (across Washington St). It will be open Thursdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
